About the Founder

Madeline Sanchez, M.A.Ed, Ed.M, CPLC

Madeline moved to New York with her family in the 80's from Medellin, Colombia. As a first generation immigrant and English as a new language student, she faced obstacles throughout her early years like learning how to speak English as a new language, while navigating the acculturation process of being in a new country; She is no stranger to the ever-present circumstances which still face Latina girls today.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Mercy College, followed by a Masters Degree in Education and Human Development from the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition, she holds a second Masters in Educational Leadership & Administration.

​

She's a Certified Life Coach and has served as keynote speaker for NAPW (National Association of Professional Women),  Sustainable Success NYC and Girls World Expo. Madeline is an Adjunct Professor of second language acquisition and has sat on various panels as keynote speaker for educating English Language Learners. 

Her contributing publications are included in the Kaplan Publishing book titled "One Size Does Not Fit All” .
